This was a cake made for a baby shower. It was a great opportunity for me to try something new. Before I made this cake, I had seen a lot of these baby rump cake designs and I must confess I was somewhat intimidated by them. It was thus a relief when I was able to execute one. I have been told the baby has got large toes, well, his mum better be ready to buy large shoes then :-). You can find a tutorial on how this cake was made here.

Technically, this is a two tier cake as the rump forms the top tier. Both cakes are carrot cakes frosted with cream cheese frosting. The designs on the cake were made with marshmallow fondant.

    Hello boss. Pls do I need to cover d head of d cake with a round fondant before putting d quilt on d sides or I shd just leave d buttercream on d head like dt. And can I brush my cake with water instead of vodka nd can I use gin or WKD blue vodka. Thanks
