Frozen Cake with Sven’s Antlers

A lot of young girls always insist on having Frozen themed cakes at their birthday parties. The challenge for every cake decorator is to find creative ways of making Frozen themed cakes without being repetitious. That was the challenge I faced with this cake. I had recently made the Frozen cake of my dreams (Picture below) and sought to create a cake that was equally as creative as that cake. This cake was the product of that search. It is a two tier Frozen cake with icicles and fondant antlers toppers.

The sponges used for the cake are pound cakes frosted with vanilla buttercream. All the design work was done with marshmallow fondant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sticking out on top of the cake are a pair of fondant antlers. A tutorial on how to make these antlers can be found here.
