Black and White Striped Cakes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Black and white striped cakes are very popular with celebrants. These cakes usually feature black and white horizontal lines with other colors introduced by the addition of flowers, ornaments and toppers. Other colors can also be introduced in some of the stripes on the cake itself. These cakes are slowly becoming one of my favorites as they are pretty straightforward to make, are subject to several interpretations and when done correctly, are statement pieces.
