Fondant Brooch Pictorial
This is a pictorial on how to make this simple brooch. This brooch can be used in cakes which require jewelries such as the draped aso oke cake below. It can be made in several colors and used in several other ways on cakes.
PICTORIAL:
Shape white fondant into small cones with pointed tips and a rounded base.
Cut out circular ivory colored fondant.
Brush the cirlces with a vodka and gold dust mixture. Stick the cones to the circles in two layers
Place a sugar pearl in middle of the brooch
Brush the brooches with a vodka/corn syrup mixture when they are dry.

Hi. I do not have such a recipe. I typically make my cupcakes the day they are to be consumed as cupcakes dry out after 24 hours.
