Sauteed Red Bell Peppers

These peppers are sweet and heighten the flavor of the most humble meals. Simply serve your potatoes or poached egg on a bed of sauteed red bell peppers and spice up your meal.

Hasselback Potatoes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

(1) 1 Red Bell Pepper

(2) 1 Small Onion

(3) 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

(4) 1 Bay Leaf

(5) Salt and Pepper to taste.

PREPARATION:

(1) Wash pepper, remove seeds and cut into long strips (Julienne). Chop your onions too.

(2) Heat your olive oil.

(3) Add your chopped onions and bay leaf and fry till onion is translucent.

(4) Add julienned peppers. Season with salt and pepper.

(5) Saute till soft and caramelized, turning every now and them. About 15-20 mins.

(6) Serve hot and plate your accompanying dish on top. Enjoy.
