A church was having an appreciation day for their pastor and I was asked to make this cake for the occasion. I was excited about this project as I had always wanted to make a cake like this one. I found the entire process enjoyable and got great reviews. Sometimes, less is more and the simplest of designs could have the greatest effect.

The top tier is a red velvet cake frosted with cream cheese frosting. The bottom tier is a Nigerian cake frosted with vanilla buttercream. Both tiers were decorated with marshmallow fondant.
