Pink and White Quilted Cake
This cake was made for a princess who just turned one. Her mother wanted something pink and white with a teddy on top. We both agreed on this design and I set out to execute it. This quilted cake features a pink and white teddy, a pink blanket cascading to one side and pink and white roses and carnations.
The cake is a Nigerian Cake frosted with vanilla buttercream. All the design work was carried out using marshmallow fondant.
The teddy on top of the cake was made entirely of marshmallow fondant. A pictorial on how this teddy was made can be found here.
